I will be traveling to the Washington, D.C. area on the 10th and hope to
introduce my sister's family to letterboxing. Can anyone advise me as
to the status of boxes in Rock Creek Park. I remember reading about a
problem with one box. I was wondering about others. I want to ensure
a good experience for novices. Tips on other good boxes in the area are
also welcome. Thanks in advance for any info.

I recently found Teddy's Box. The island was gorgeous, the hike was easy
and the stamp in the box was great. It would be a great introductory box.
If it's rainy or windy the island would be unpleasant though.
